Graduation Day!

PhD graduation

Today, after just over four years of study, I graduated with my PhD in zoology. It’s been a long and sometimes difficult road but it feels great to have got to the end of it!

It was a great day – my parents came up from Melbourne for the ceremony and my new boyfriend (Mr S) had the day off work and was able to come along too. It was super-hot and sunny, but we were able to get some great outdoor photos while I was wearing the gown and hat. Afterwards my parents took us out for a delicious lunch at a local organic restaurant.

Now onto the next chapter of my life 🙂

PS. Now that graduation is over, I can concentrate on Christmas. I have a great homemade Christmas present round-up that I will post in the next couple of days, so make sure you check it out!
