This week, for the first time in a long time, I have no food waste. I think this has more to do with the fact that I didn’t go food shopping last weekend (apart from stocking up on some meat on sale that went straight into the freezer).
The main food save of the week was blueberry ice cream that I made to use up some kefir that had been in the fridge for a while and the rest of the raw milk. Since I didn’t have any cream, it wasn’t as creamy as normal ice cream, but it was still tasty, and it was healthy enough that I ate it for breakfast one day.
This weekend I plan to clean out the fridge and then go to the organic markets to stock up on more fruit and veggies.
